Ok I am getting a problem after updating to 2.29 using the AToW-updater.exe. I now get: "Include file SPON_Core\SPON\Core\ui\common.hpp not found" And then there's an OK button and thats it. Launcher closes and game does not launch.

UPDATE: I can launch the game using the "Play ArmA with ACE Mod" shortcut. But not the "Play Arma AtoW Beta" shortcut. Something is bonked.

Yup i was already downloading it. That fixed it. Strange that the updaters did not. I expect a few others to have this issue on Sunday.

If everyone would have read post #3 above and also quoted here everything would have been fine.

YOU MUST INSTALL THE LATEST PUBLIC RELEASE OF ACE 1.01

A.C.E. Public BETA Patch v1.01 Release (http://www.arma-tow.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9932)

In that link I gave a very detailed explanation.
Now if you followed that detailed explanation then we need to know so we can change the instructions.

On Monday there will be a new all-in-one setup.exe with updater to reduce these problems.

Also we will provide YOMA sync point again for those that YOMA works well for. YOMA is also good at sniffing out problems. as well if you know how to read it.

Cheers!

But that is deceiving VM. Last week I updated my ACE install to Ver. 1.01. So i thought i had met the requirements. Apparently there is a *New* Ver. 1.01. Many more will think "I have ACE 1.01, so im good to go".

I say make it simple and type it as

"YOU MUST INSTALL ACE V1.01 AGAIN, EVEN IF PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED." :salute:

That makes it too easy, and as such, violates tourney rules :army_wink:

You must give me an error message.
If error 1 I will tell you to install ACE
if error 2 I will tell you to install ATOW
If error 3 I will know what to tell you next.

Not working alone - does not help those people help you efficiently.
Report to UN Public channel. Find Zetki or myself.

Oh, I found the problem.

It was that the beta was not the first mod in my properties channel.

Kinda sad.
