Hey there, Adams_BJ all the way from BF2s.com here. Heard about this and decided I might get into it. Have been looking at ArmA for a long time and this persuaded me to get it, ordered my copy today should be here in a few.

Once my net resets I can DL everything I need and hopefully get into the action, I hear there are other Aussies in this thing too? I hope I can get on their side, we don't like fighting our own ;)

Hey good to see you hear Adams_BJ! We use a system where you can either choose "Random" and you'll be assigned to the army who needs players the most. Or, you can choose the donation method, and for as little as $5USD, can choose the army you wish to fight for. This method helps us keep forum/server costs under control. Again, glad to see you here and look forward to getting you through boot camp!

Ah, from what I hear I'm sure it would be well worth my while to spend a bit of money here :).

Hope this community is as great as I hear and you guys help me to become a much better player, hell, maybe oneday I may even get a special job on the battle field (wishful thinking :army_rolleyes: :P)

Oh it did, especially the shots of the helicopters at a realistic range etc. (Aviation fanboy here, actually studying to be a fighter pilot)

Together with B.Schuss I was one of the founding fathers for the BF2s EU community, a couple of years ago.
(getting free battleservers, getting players, being the grumpy drill sergeant ;) )
Had a lot of fun there.
