You now have a 2nd Option to keep your AToW addons up-to-date.
This one is designed for those that already has ran the FULL Setup of either the beta or the released version of our AToW MOD.

YOMA ADDON SYNCHRONIZER TOOL



Download and run the installation of the Yoma Tool from HERE (http://www.yomatools.be/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1) or direct download here

Once you have the Addon Syncroniser running, select the Server tab:
Under Addon Server:
Server Name: Arma: Theatre of War
Addon server URL: http://www.arma-tow.com/atowsync (http://www.arma-tow.com/forums/../atowsync) - New URL

Leave the rest blank.
Select Save. You should see a new ROW of info below showing @AToW-MOD-Beta\AddOns
Left Click on that row. It will always do a Compare.
After it has compared. It will show you any new files that need to be downloaded. Now click download files. When all files in the list show GREEN "OK" then you are all synchronized with the server.

NOTE(1): Make sure there are no trailing spaces at the end of your Addon Server URL or your may receive the following error:
The remote server returned a (404) not found.

NOTE(2): If you receive a dialog that Detected existing local files. Usually you want to click yes. This means that it found a copy of a file somewhere outside your ATOW Beta Addon Folder. And it is identical to the server. So Selecting yes will copy the files instead of downloading the file. It should save you time.
Do I have to download the big setup file again?
No. It's best that you do. However the 2nd best thing is to use the ADDON Synchronizer tool. It will verify you have the same addons as the server. Finally you can download the smaller patch update listed above.

NOTE: If you use the Synchronizer it will enable Matt's Arma Effects by default. You will have to deselect it before you download any files that needs to be updated. Or you need to manually move the pbo out of the Addon's folder to the DisabledAddons folder or delete it.
Recruits setting up for the first time?
Recruits will also have to setup the FULL BETA version if they want to participate in the weekly fun battles. This means they will have to download the full patch for the beta or the final release. Which ever one we are using at the time.

There is a full update to the YOMA Addon Synchronizer.


This requires you to do an uninstall of your current version.
Then install from this Armaholic.com:
Yoma's Addon Synchroniser updated (http://www.armaholic.com/index.php?m=single&id=2338)


Do not try to sync v2.1 of the ATOW Mod using Yoma. We will annouce when this is available

FIXED ** Overnumbers Hints and operation
FIXED ** UN Menu loss after death and respawn
FIXED ** MHQ Markers are not visible on UN Map
FIXED ** Menu order burried the important action menu items forcing you to scroll too much.
IMPROVED ** BFCO Spawn protection from vehicles being too close to the spawn pads. Keep them out of the circle.

ADDED Artillery Marker For Spawn Location
ADDED Support for random spawn locations to reduce chance for spawn camping an objective. Each objective now has 8 spawn locations that is randomly chosen when spawning forward.
ADDED loud whistle sounds from the shell piercing the air at supersonic speeds. This means you can now hear the incoming Arty Shells 8 to 10 seconds before they land. And you can tell the approximate direction of the arty piece.
BALANCED Reduced the Splash Damage from Arty Impact of HE Shell from 60 to 30 meters.
BALANCED The number of shells in a reload cartridge has been reduced from 10 to 5 shells.
BALANCED The Registration Dialog Box has been REMOVED (the real-time stats that gives you altitude and distance the shell needs)
IMPROVED Updated the aimpoint on the RK-95
