The AToW MOD v2.0.4 is released.
First Time downloading the C2 MOD Beta what to install first?
Install this full setup first.

Already have the Full Setup of the Beta of a previous version?
You have two options now:
C2 Beta MOD Patch Update

YOMA ADDON SYNCRONIZER TOOL
Download and run the installation of the Yoma Tool from HERE (http://www.yomatools.be/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1)
Once you have the Addon Syncroniser running, select the Server tab:
Under Addon Server:
Server Name: Arma: Theatre of War 2.0 BETA
Addon server URL: http://www.arma-tow.com/atowbeta (http://www.arma-tow.com/forums/../atowbeta)
Leave the rest blank.
Select Save. You should see a new ROW of info below showing @AToW-MOD-Beta\AddOns
Left Click on that row. It will always do a Compare.
After it has compared. It will show you any new files that need to be downloaded. Now click download files. When all files in the list show GREEN "OK" then you are all synchronized with the server.
NOTE(1): Make sure there are no trailing spaces at the end of your Addon Server URL or your may receive the following error:
The remote server returned a (404) not found.
NOTE(2): If you receive a dialog that Detected existing local files. Usually you want to click yes. This means that it found a copy of a file somewhere outside your ATOW Beta Addon Folder. And it is identical to the server. So Selecting yes will copy the files instead of downloading the file. It should save you time.
What are the Changes?
Removal of the Mando HUD for Helo's for Fun Day Test.
Added No Vehicle Lock PvP for Fun Day Test. AA and other guided missiles that require lock is still present.
Mando Hitch v1.4 for the Fun Day Test. You are now able to pickup vehicles, ammocrates, and other static objects.
HeadbugFix Script Fixed.
Applied Fix for Red Russian Vehicles and removed ability to lock them so now they are even with the US helos.
Attempted to remove the Radar as per Moody's Test params however, Mando Missile System erased them. We will contact Mandoble.
AA & Flares Tuned for Patch 1.14
Intended Goal:
If you have Flares and use them in time and properly, then your chances are very good to survive the missile threat.
If you are out of Flares or use them improperly, the chances of survival are near ZERO.
Regardless of distance from enemy launch point to your helo, You have at least a minim One Full Second to react with your flares. Depending on angle of missile attack, and distance, often times even though Flares are deployed you may not be able to create enough separation in time, again depending on the angle of attack and distance.
Detailed Changes:
~changed the initial speed out of the tube from 100 m/s down to 10 m/s
This should increase the time required for the pilot to react to a lagging Incoming Missile warning. Currently the pilot had 1 second to hit the flares and change flight path when range to target was launched at about 800 meters.
~Decreased the acceleration from 400 m/s to 320 m/s
~Drastically decreased explosion strength. Collateral Damage was too much.
~increased max speed from 580 to 680.
Do I have to download the big setup file again?
No. It's best that you do. However the 2nd best thing is to use the ADDON Synchronizer tool. It will verify you have the same addons as the server. Finally you can download the smaller patch update listed above.
NOTE: If you use the Synchronizer it will enable Matt's Arma Effects by default. You will have to deselect it before you download any files that needs to be updated. Or you need to manually move the pbo out of the Addon's folder to the DisabledAddons folder or delete it.
Recruits setting up for the first time?
Recruits will also have to setup the full beta version if they want to participate in the weekly fun battles.
