OK guys the MH6 is way too expensive!!!
i would like to see it come down to at the lowest 1200 -1800.

I feel as the VVS XO that it is hard to want to just let any one transport in warriors especially new guys but we have to let them do it. i would also like to see more reliance on deep enemy inserts taht would most likely be a 1 way trip. we could also cover the loss of mhq's and if all mhqs are down usually thats the only time we are seeing transport missions, why we should all be using them during the battle. any hoo i would like to see a compromise to the 3000 price tag on a paper product...

I wouldn't object to having the unarmed MH-6 be a little cheaper. But i wouldn't go as low as 1200-1800. I was thinking no less than 2500mp. After all it is an aircraft and no helo is going to be cheap. 2500mp would make it by far the cheapest helo. And thats 1000 less than the AH-6 which is fully armed.

If "Real World" cost has anything to do with it ,we can get an approximation. The M1A1 Abrams cost ~ $4.5M US. The Civilian OH-6 cost around $.75mil to $1M from what I can see. That would be comparing Civilian to Military costs and is not a direct translation, just an idea. I expect operation maintenance on an Aircraft to be slightly more costly then a tank, but I could be wrong. Having said that I can see a MH-6 costing half as much as an M1A1, maybe a little more.

Having said that I can see a MH-6 costing half as much as an M1A1, maybe a little more.Current M1A1- 4000mp
Current MH-6 - 3000mp

According to the quote above, half as much as the Abrams or maybe a little more would put it at 2500mp. :D Seems we agree here.

Either way, no price changes would take effect until C2. But we're always looking at tweaks!

In my opinion I would make MH-6's cheap but take MHQ's away? In real life we don't have some magic machine that will transport us straight into battle do we? IF we took away MHQ's and made MH-6's cheap we could transport troops into battle, Even if troops forwarded spawned and got picked up there I feel it would be better then MHQ's.

This thread is not about removing MHQ's. MHQ's are not going anywhere. So just accept it. We are discussing lowing the price of the MH-6.

OH Zetki, it breaks my heart that now that you are in the VVS you don't mind us infantry dogs humping it across the battlefield!!! How quickly they forget!!!:D

Troop insertions in the MH-6 are so much fun! Granted, I've not been in one against human fire, but the experience is pretty thrilling all the same!

Every time I get out of a helo under fire I die. :(

I think there should be some sort of algorithm to relate the cost of in-game prices to real-world prices. So each piece would be a portion of the cost of the actual piece of equipment.

look i have seen a post below 4 k for an m1a1 and 3 k for an mh6 thats just totally un reasonable to put a noob in to. i want both sides to feel the bounty of the MH6 with out it the game goes nowhere and with no balls. i just want to give the guy off the street a chance to fly. i would truly like to see te chopper cost 1800MP i think that is is fair and it is still expensive.

Troop insertions in a Loach under fire = Death, they are not paper airplanes when they get hit. They fly great and are easy to do a quick touchdown and drop off 5 troops, but don't get caught in a fire fight.

if we can make it so the engine doesn't cut out in till the chopper reaches about 75% damage and not 20% damage then i see no need to change the price but as a base model it is a toy

I seen New Zealand Deer hunter's trim trees down with there chopper's and if you want the cazyest ride in a chopper go to New Zealand and talk to the old pilots (1950's to 80's pilots) they herd cows with those. i think thats why they don't have an air force any more....
