Okay, head over to: http://games.tiscali.cz/reviews/arma2shakycam/
... for some shakey-cam ArmA2 vids.
Looks all very impressive, but I've noticed some stuff they kinda sorta... borrowed from the community.
1) Chain of Command: Seems like commanders actually control multiple squads.
2) GroupLink: Squads on the same side talk to each other, call for support etc.
3) CTI: Capture the island, with bits stolen from MFArmA, and MFCTI.
On the plus side:
1) I guess we are helping to make better games.
2) The AI seems to have been improved (great for SP/COOP)
3) Destroyable buildings (Alpha version in the video is kinda static, but a big step anyway)
4) JSF with VTOL that seems to work.
5) Slight graphical improvements, and a superior map (less prefab, more thought out and natural looking)
At least that's the way it kinda seems to look from a collection of 30sec handy-cam clips.
You be the judge.
