RobertHammers M4/M16 & AK Pack

The iron sights look great and very realistic.

NWD Add-ons!

- Ballistics (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=70;t=66195): Need I say more. He added in a disclaimer on the round for 5.45 as being old giving BLUFORs up-to-date 5.56 the advantage. I haven't noticed a difference aside from the fast he added in very realistic values for flight paths. This also includes dispersions, forgot what it did exactly.

- Scope fixes (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=70;t=66195): Very realistic looking scopes to tie into the ballistics.

- Laser range finder: Gives the range on targets and it does work with Mando scripts (O yeah!)

- Tank Fire Control Systems (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=70;t=69123;r=1;&)

Q11 Add-ons (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=70;t=69444;hl=q11):

- Realistic recoils, jamming, and rates of fire. Just adds to the realism.

- Wind add-on (Yeah, wind that affects the path of the rounds, could be quite interesting though if this was expanded to be weapon specific. This would allow AT4s and RPGs to be adjusted as well as basic rifles)

Pingu Claymore: Claymore mines that can be set with tripwires or are manually detonated.
__________________________________________________ ___________

CoC Command Engine: I actually messed around with this. Pretty easy to edit allowing you to split your battalion/ company into your platoons/squads/fire teams. Allows all levels to command the men under them. Could be modified to use our markers. From what i can tell only the you can view the soldiers under you command. So by possibly making a slight modification you could fix this. I haven't looked into that much yet.
__________________________________________________ ___________

S_NVG (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=69;t=72585): Fixes the NVGs to not be so worthless at times
__________________________________________________ ___________

SLX Vehicles: There was an issue with this when going over bridges. A "patch" was released shortly after discovering this. I would suggest waiting until an up-to-date version comes out.
__________________________________________________ ____________

SPD Vehicles: Fixes the goofing looking issue where rounds exited out the multiple gun point vehicles in one position.

GMJ Windage and Elevation (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=70;t=65706):

I'll update with more links later on. Until then you can also refer to this topic on the BIS forums.

CoC Command Engine:
Tell us more.
With this could you be able to hide enemy markers on map, but still keep your squad shown?
Does it let you create command struckture of Commander -> FT * FT * FT, so that FT leaders can still only see theyr own FT and not others and give orders only to hes FT?

And YES for the claymores!

Yes, CoC allows you to create and name your units. So, for example you could name the map markers for a fireteam 1PLT/1SQD/FTA (1st Platoon, 1st Squad, Fireteam Alpha)

Enemy markers are hidden, although in the command map, when enemy units spotted by friendlies they are marked. I'll look into seeing if this can be disabled. because I would prefer we force players to manually mark enemy positions.

And yes you can customize the structure of each army.

These are some good "realism" ideas Dyson. We are in the process of putting back together the Balance and Testing team. Perhaps you'd want to be a part of it and help test this stuff out in the AToW environment.

you got this list on a 'bot or something? It seems to reappear on a regular basis.;) I'll have to get my concerns on a 'bot too.:D

I'd love to see that realism mod that eliminates glitching, warping, rubberbanding, etc. before we add any that we already know cause errors. Until BIS settles the patch we can't even test properly.

what i have today checked COC/CEX would give BFCO bit more doing on field.
And you can turn off that 3D.
Concider it same kind of program what BF2 has for commander.
click unit and give it target.

SteveAK,

Hey I don't know if you have ever heard of the saying "If you don't having any valid input, then keep it to yourself", but you should start practicing it there bud.

Anyways... the ideas I posted before has since been updated. There is no reason to use a thread that is months old. There is also a post in the BIS forum with a list of most of the add-ons that I listed...

Oh also any warping you see of people running around si the fault of either your internet or the server. I have Comcast highspeed and haven't had any issues with what your speaking of, at least with the A-ToW server (including the one we use that was in the UK). I'd like to know about these "glitches" you are your talking about though...

There have been enough people complaining about warping/lag so it's not an isolated incident as you are suggesting. There are obvious performance issues we are experiencing most likely server side. It's lucky that you haven't experienced them yet. And if you want to know more about them there is this thread http://www.arma-tow.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7547

oh and I agree with steve, regurgitating your add-on ideas that have been brought up before is waste of time and forum space. You made your suggestions and they were read and commented on by everyone... twice I believe. It's great that you are interested in enhancing the tourney. But in all honesty, we don't need to rehash this stuff for a third time.

Thanks, Pal. I'll file that nugget of wisdom away although I doubt it will ever apply to me. Thanks anyway, Chum.

Oh, I got one you might want to practice there, Slick. "If I don't want anyone to criticize me - I might not want to repeatedly post the same buggy unbalanced garbage in the same forum."

Well thanks for your guys...input...over forums. I'm not much for people running their mouths. I'm hoping that the forums on this tournament don;t turn into what the BIS forums have become. Last I checked you both weren't admins, so if you don't wanna read my posts then I highly suggest you don't open them. If you want to speak further lets do it over Teamspeak.

Why don't we all just keep our personal comments to ourselves.
If you think someone is posting too much then send a PM to your Council Member or to the UN. If they agree to take the time from their busy day and merge the two threads the Council/UN member will do that. Another option is to click the Report Post button just above the player's post count.

This is a Suggestion area for all to freely post suggested MODs and feature additions. All Player input on suggestions for the MOD and mission file are welcome.

That genuinely made me have a good chuckle to myself, you just brightened up my day steve.
