Ok, a bit radical but here it goes:
Replace the 2MEF and the 7th army with two fictious army's from two fictious countries. each of these having access to an arms and vehicle market where they can buy both US and russian equiptment. This will allow both sides to have complete freedom as to what vehicles they are using.I feel that this will allow a more diverse battle field and it will also cut out alot of balancing issues. I appreciate that this will require a fair bit of config work (to make the units available to both sides) and texturing work, but to cut this down we could use the already retextured units the russians have alongside some more, also we could re use the current soldier units just with different patches. In addition to this we could use some retextured vehicles like the rhs russian ones (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=2052) for the US or for the russians just with the flags removed/modified.
