Ok i came to TOW thinking that there would be a good atmosphere and i would see allot of people on.

I was mistaken and quickly discovered that there are no seniors in 2MEF from europe and i have been waiting way too long to get basic training.

I think that the TOW is a mainly North american tourny and doesnt satisfy the european gamer. Please email me or PM me with your opinion on the matter as i would be interested what excuses arise.

Lastly, I met several VERY immature people, and felt that to get be heard i might have to adopt a squeeky teenage voice and start shouting.

Thanks For your time

Stanna. I did not receive even one PM from you requesting a time to setup a boot camp. I have not seen any posts from you in the forums about your availability. I have not seen you hanging out on TS looking for help from any of the [2MEF] officers.

You were incorrect in your officer statement. 1LT.Dren is from Finland and would have gladly helped you. We have a large portion of Euro gamers here that do just fine.

From my view, you did nothing to help your situation and then returned to insult the tourny and my army. This tells me its best you move on. I would not want a player with your attitude in my army anyhow. I consider you leaving a move in the right direction.

I understand your frustration I would feel the same way. However keep in mind that it is a Christmas Holiday for most areas of planet.

We are under a Christmas Cease Fire just as our main website says. Many of the officers are on vacation. And the tournament just started and is growing each day even with the holidays. So we would love for you to stay with us for a couple of weeks after the Cease Fire has lifted and the Officers come back from their vacations.

The tournament starts back up January 2nd with the first battle on January 6th.

Sorry half of my mistake.
Stanna PM'ed me and i redirected him for the "real" DI's. (as i have no idea whats happening on BC anymore). And one of our most actives DI's jumped out at same day.
So alot of mixing. Stanna hit me with the possible times when you are able for BC.

Ok in reply to the above :

I did chase up my training. as Dren has mentioned, i also popped on teamspeak every night for atleast 10 minutes each time... the reason i did not stay longer because of the stupid rule that you have about soldiers that have not attended boot camp are not aloud in any other channels. So when Seniors were on i couldnt contact them (they seemed to ignore my Teamspeak messages) and i was just sat in a channel on my own.
Which is another problem, i would have liked to be able to go into the 2mef channels to get to know people in different sections of the army before deciding where to go (armour or infantry etc.)

Finaly, i do not wish to insult you, your army, the tournament and i think that forums bring out a very harsh view and some people read things the wrong way. I am just trying to put a few valid points to you and hope that for the next group of european players that wish to join things have improved

Thankyou

"...soldiers that have not attended boot camp are not aloud in any other channels?"

If such a rule truly exists then it sounds like an Army specific rule. There may be a misunderstanding or miscommunication from the Top down to the Armies about this as the only Tournament Wide rule about 30-min Boot Camp rule is that without one you cannot fight in the Sunday battle until you have one. If there is a miscommunication we apologize for that and will work to better this situation.

I think TeamSpeak is THE best way to communicate with a players new army. We need to allow for this communication.

Stanna, actually there was a miscommunication with your boot camp. The drill instructor who was supposed to get you through it, quit the tourny about the same time you showed up to attend it. No one was told you had not been through it.
