What would you think, if we removed all friendly and hostile markers on the map.
1st to prevent map spotting
2nd to give more realistic feeling

And add mhq kind of marker on squad leaders for each unit.
You could see where the squad is moving from its leader.
These shouldnt be hard, right BARMY?

is it possible btw to remove those enemy units complitely from map?

No. It's hard enough already to keep a squad together, we don't need to make it more difficult. It's worked this way for this long, let's not fix it if it ain't broke.

This is already in our MOD today with Six Sense Pack1. And I was going to turn it on Dren when you asked my 1.5 weeks ago. I researched this even more after you requested it. However, I decided NOT to turn on anything until we make sure any remaining LAG and synced are under control. I'm not saying it will introduce LAG but the MOD team just wants to minimize what we need to focus on at the moment.

I don't like this idea. As Doyle points out it's hard enough to keep a squad together now. I for one would like to see where my guys are on the map so that I can make tactical adjustments. Besides, we already tried to play that way back at ArmaI and eventually turned them back on. I found it a royal PITA to try and figure out where each other was. Isn't this rehashing old territory?

I may have gave people the wrong impression here.
What I meant actually is one part of Dren's request is already in. And that part is the ability to ADD an additional marker on the map that represents each unit. This is helpful for unit leaders and the BFCO on the map.

I am not saying our MOD has the ability do exactly as Dren is suggesting. And to make it clear. I was going to ADD the additional marker when the time is right so that the players can give feedback if they like to keep the feature or not. But we are running out of time.

Is it so that, if you can see friendlyes on map, you can also see enemy?
But that what VM means is the thing what i really would like to see.
But we got more important things to solve before it
