i like them, but...
For what we use them? idea of hiding crashes when everyone knows where those nets are?
one idea is to use them for so called "side objects".
Like an radio station or small mil base.

When the first release of these were out my hope was to use them to hide FARPS from air borne radar. But I could not verify this was the case.
Perhaps this release does. I would love to setup a support vehicles under a radar masking netting.
Of course I realize this may not be 100% realistic. I know netting is supposed to visually conceal a vehicle or object from the naked eye. Does a properly placed netting at least conceals well from helicopters flying overhead?

not if helos know where the nets are :)
This is once again thing like minefields.
Generals should be able to place couple of these before each fight, they they would work for real. like hiding MHQ's

Camo nets could theoretically "scatter" the radar signature. What they are used for is, visual concealment from the air. From a distance, they would be hard to make out. If you know where they are or, you are right next to them, obviously they won't be as effective.

They are useless to me if they (engine off) causes a white blip on a helo's radar. But that might be just my personal mindset. But perhaps I am not educated on how effective they might be on the ground vs the ground troops naked eye.

We can ask the author to do them invisible to radar?

If they are used properly in the right place with the right background, they are really hard to find. Especially at the distance where the "Fog" starts. I think its 1200 meters. If your a foot soldier hoofin' it through, you probably wouldn't see it. Certainly not enough to want to change your current course to investigate. At least I wouldn't.

Ok after some testing here is what I have found.
-The nets DO in fact mask radar in all forms, no red or white dots appear on radar.
-
The nets ARE destroyable and take roughly the same punishment at a small shed.
-Here is the Kicker. They are BULLET PROOF. No bullets can peneatrate the net or exit the net all rounds fired from within are stopped a foot out side the barrel. all bullets going in stop at the entrance to the net.
- one law rocket can take it down
- 6 203 rounds can take it down.
-once down all internal vehicles (MHQ's) are able to be picked up on radar.

we should speak to the authers as the bullet proof thing is a bit silly and if they have the models it would be easy to fix by correcting the FIRE LOD

well you wont be blowing up vehicles with AK's anyway. BUT if it gets to firefight then the bulletproof comes to an problem.

Just "attach" them to a vehicle that way its a menu option for the vehicle. Just like "engine off" or "lights." Best used for MHQ's I think. Just a thought.
