AToW Mod Installation and Updates

Follow instructions in this post and check the last post of the thread for the latest update. New mod updates will always be announced here.



For those familiar with the Yoma AddonSync all you need is the following AutoConfig URL.

Copy and Paste this exact link into the "Auto config URL" box:

http://www.arma-tow.com/atowsync/AToWACEyas.7z
Your MOD line is expected to contain the same required mods as what is shown in AddonSync's "Required Addons". To ensure the proper mod line it is the official recommendation to launch your game with AddonSync by first clicking on "Required Addons" then clicking launch.

Once you have clicked on "Required addons" Look in the lower left corner of your AddonSync.


You can now launch your game from AddonSync or even use this a reference to your preferred launch tool.

We will be looking to freeze ACE as much as possible so we can remain stable throughout Campaign 6. Update asap and verify the key features are still working that you will need to conduct an effective battle.

FIRST TIME INSTALLERS:
Run the ACEClippi.exe tool for the first time and select your profile Save. This will create the necessary profile files that ACE needs.

To do this follow these instructions.


Run the ACEclippi.exe ..\ArmA 2\@ATOW-ACE folder
Select Change Manual Options
Select your profile Identity name from the dropdown listbox and select save.

This is also a workaround for missing ace_clientside_config.hpp and settings.ace.
