Win a signed copy of Arma2 and an official Arma2 zippo lighter, we're giving 3 away especially for the TOW community!
All you have to do is reply to this thread to why you think you should win, and what makes you a big Arma fan?
Good luck!

Heh... Well I think I should win because I already ordered my ArmA II copy and I would gladly donate my paid for copy to the AToW community. Also Having a signed copy of ArmA II would be very cool indeed, But that Zippo is just wonderful. I already have 2 Zippo's and I would be honored to be able to add that ArmA II Zippo to my collection and use it to spread the word about ArmA to my friends and random people asking for a light. :salute:

First off i would like to thank Dan and Jez and 505 games for allowing 3 of our members to win signed copies of Arma2.
I think i should not win a copy because there are other people who put more hard work into the tournament such as the UN, Mod team, and Map team, and all the hard working members that actually fight hard on the battlefield and play as a team, that deserve it more then i do. To all the hard working members i salute you :salute:

With that zippo, my "brb smoke" on sundays would still be more or less playing arma2 :)

Ah well there goes my plan , asking if 505 had any of those Zippos left to use as give aways blown. :)
I'd love to see General Goldman say "I Love it when a plan comes together", and light a big fat cigar, while sat on his Patio of the back of the remains of Castle Bunsylvania ( renamed Castle Goldman ) . (the Crocodile Suit is optional). (http://tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:NnwDu6iKK4-3wM:http://www.fansoftheateam.com/Images/hannibal.jpg)
"What plan?" I hear you ask, precisely.
BA
I already have a nice shiney lighter.

I was shopping at Wal-Mart when i saw Arma on display, i saw it was made by the same people who made Operation Flashpoint so i thought i'd check it out. It was strictly chance but i met some of the coolest folks through Arma and it is a pleasure to call some of them good friends. I run a slow rig even by regular arma standards and can't afford to upgrade just yet, but i still enjoy fighting against other stick figures. To get a free copy would give me a chance to continue to play with my homeboys, even if we are just a bunch of stick figures with cool choppers. Your game has given me much enjoyment and for that you have my thanks.

Hey Dan and Jez, On behalf of AToW i'd like to thank you guys for all the hard work and for getting us 3 signed copy's of the game. We appriciate it all.
Although I personally would love to win a signed copy im going to nominate ViperMaul. Althought he proberly wont post here as he would prefer somone else to take the winning prize I would love for him to win one of the signed copys. ViperMaul gives alot of his free time to the community and tournament he is virutally always ready to help, wether at home or work. He devotes alot of effort into making this torunament what it is today and it very much appricated by me and alot of people. Id also like to take this opportunity to thank Viper for everything he has done for me, and the tournament.
This is why i would like Viper to win a copy of Arma II.

Funny how "why you should win" changes here in to "Who should win".
But, it works better in here ;)
So how about some Arma2 labeled tea for barmy and stress pills for VM ;)

There was a thump, it was dark, and the drone of the helicopter soon left our range. There were four of us and one big headache of a mission ahead. The ground was still moist under our feet as we packed our chutes and dumped them in the small stream that runs by. Our gear was heavy but it was to last us for our 20km trek to the objective point.
We started to move through the undergrowth, we knew we were close to the enemy so we crept silent, only using hand signals. For 12km we had moved like ghosts through the countryside of Chernarus, dodging the locals, the US supply convoys. It was then we came up across our first obstacle. It was a US checkpoint, filled with M1A1, .50 Cal and all other murderous equipment. We moved to the east to avoid most of the lights, and then it happens. SNAP a loud crack came from my comrade, I quickly looked round to see his face all screwed up, I looked around at the other quickly and then to his leg, there was a big red patch leeching from his combats, the bloody idiot had stepped in a bear trap. So quickly the medic got to work on him, we removed the trap, clotted the bleeding and gave the man some morphine. The only thing we were thankful for was that he managed to keep his cool and not utter a single whimper so close to enemy contacts.
We soon started to move past the checkpoint slowly but surely, we once again invaded our foe. Soon we made it to our RV point, thankful that we had no encounters, no shots fired and our flairs ready to illuminate the landing zone for reinforcements.
Dedication, professionalism and heroism, is what the Spetsnaz stand for, and that soldier that displayed all those on the battlefield? The name of that soldier was BlackViolet and I think he deserves a signed copy of Arma II and a Zippo to light his cigarette while his leg recovers from that bear trap!
