Hey everyone,

I'm helping out dan_n with all the Arma II questions you submitted over the past 2 weeks.

I've started this new thread to add the responses the developers have given to what you've asked. I'll add more as a reply as they come in, below is the first to get things started.

To everyone who's asked something, we're still waiting to get more replies back. All of the questions posted here have been submitted so pleas bare with us while the responses come back.

'Wormeaten' Q: ArmA is in my opinion best, most complex and realistic FPS but not using its advantages to create better PvP MP mod then other FPS games on market.

Warfare is not good enough to beat Bf2 PR mod which is most popular PvP mod in Bf franchise. For DM or CTF who is in basic spouse to be quick intensive fight where an ArmA advantage is not that important for playability this is area where CoD franchise rules.

Right now 90% or maybe more is Coop MP against AI and is mostly because ArmA don’t have proper Player vs. Player MP mod. Only seriously PvP mod is warfare which is too much spread out what causing shortage of action or better say direct confrontation between players.

So my question is going in that direction is they planning to do something to cover that part of market or we have to stay on old outdated Bf2 engine to satisfy our need for good PvP mod?

I hope its clear enough now.

A: There are multiple MP scenarios for PvP game play and many of templates to create new one for every single PvP session. Imagine the possibility and scale of the game using the High Command mode in PvP MP…
