My only question is what Knucklehead built the airfield in front of a mountain LOL...Nice Work GOldman. This looks like a promising map for a D-Day Style Campaign start

What's the size compared to our beloved Saharani? :)

The old map was 20x20km.
The new map is 15x15km
The landmass is alittle bigger on the new map than it was on Saharani, but as you can see there a no roads to the far north. Overall its about the same as Saharani, but with more town/locations. Its defently a much better map than Saharani is and it looks great.
Appart from the road system seen on the map, there are also small trails going through the forests.

Oh I see, I thought they'd made something bigger but eventually they focused on density of objects instead of size, which is good!

Indeed. In some ways it reminds me of smallfelden (the small german contryside map we tested in the fall). If you look at the road system you have 3-4 options in just about every town to change direction. On Saharani you can just passing thrugh the majorty of towns, with very few exceptions.
