I'll kick things off with some hardware questions.
Will A2 truly support SLi and Crossfire setups?
Is there a performance gain or loss/problems with 64bit OS's?
How much system RAM is ideal/recommended for A2?
Thanks! :salute:

1. Will small arms rounds have realistic material penetration? ie Will they be able to penetrate metals, brick, wood and the always tuff chain-link fence?
2. Will there be more options in setting the AI difficulty?
3. Related to #2. Has the amazing AI marksmanship and situational awareness been toned down? Getting one-shotted in the head at night at 800+ meters from some some AI clown without night-vision or optics spinning a 180 has always really annoyed me.
4. Will turning command spotting off be an option in multi-player?
Thanks for your time,
Steve

I know this is probably going to be a interesting response, however is there any info on how people in North America can get their hands on ArmA 2 when it comes out, or if there is any info on who will publish and when the NA version? I'm wondering because I want to try to get it in as short of a time period as possible, however I don't want to have to import it if I don't have to (bad experiences with previous imports from another publisher when I had to get a replacement copy when the disc literally cracked).
Also, I have to ask this, is there going to be feasable to create an LCAC and actually drive the vehicles onto it and transport them without any major issues?
Finally, will the medics be more like in ACE or just like OFP/ArmA in that you have to have things like bandages and morphine, things like that to do healing rather than just doing the old way of walking up to a medic and hitting heal?

Questions- (only if you know)

What is the RRP in AUD, USD, Eruo... ?
Also any form of regional coding (like in Steam if the game not allowed in your country it stop you from playing it)?

- Will we be able to shoot out of vehicles, such as fire my m4 out the window of a humvee?
- Will there be a speed penalty for infantry when walking through certain areas, such as a forest or muddy ground?
- Will there be trails in ArmA2 rather then just paved roads and dirt/gravel roads?
- Is the new landmass larger or smaller then sahrani?
- Will certain gun sights have different modes, such as the kobra being able to switch between different dot shapes and colors?
- Will there be an ability to have populated towns and villages, or wildlife, in multiplayer mode?

- Will there be a system so addons are auto-downloaded from servers to the clients without disconnect?
- Will you match the good qualities OFP2 is adding (ie each weapon with correct animation like the Javelin)?
- It seems like some games don't require you to zoom in to hit targets at long range and have a more true to live aspect ratio. Why is this, and can you so something so that the bionic zoom can be deleted?
- It seems probable that better performance can be achieved if the game didn't load and update textures/ effects/ other players/ AI/ objects that were not in the LOS (line of sight) of the client. Is BIS going to address this?
- Currently the mission editor requires knowledge of scripting for many features that could just come with the editor. Will BIS allow scripts to be added so that the player doesn't have to implement on their own (Arty script, save stats, set height, zone capture)?
- ArmA lacked many real life system functionalities even though some of the weapon systems were in game (BLUFORCE Tracker, Laser Designator, Javelin, M1A2). Do you plan on added these so we have more realistic weapon systems (ie. Laser Designator with azimuth, M1A2 with FCS)?
- It seemed like there was some suggestions taken from the community, but we would all like to see more. Will BIS create more support so that major suggestions can be implemented sooner (An example of an issue is that the prone and crouch animations are not correct, please refer to US Army field manual)?
- Okay last question, for now. What is BIS's opinion of a weekly meeting with questions and concerns from the community. A list could be created, everyone signs up, and each week the next x number of people get to ask x number of their questions?

HI All
An update for you. I have all of your questions sent over to the developers. I am hoping I will be able to reply Tomorrow (Monday). I have lots of information about ArmA but a lot of these technical questions I would like the developers to check first so I get the right info for you :)
Would you all be able to let me know whats best for the answers? Shall I post all as one big reply or would it be easier if I reply to each persons directly. Whatever is best for you guys let me know.

Cant w8 to hear some more news, buying European pre-sale ArmA II this weak ^^
I have a question:
Will the weapons sound more realistic than the 1° ArmA ?

How do you mean Wormeaten? Please clarify your question.
ArmA is in my opinion best, most complex and realistic FPS but not using its advantages to create better PvP MP mod then other FPS games on market.
Warfare is not good enough to beat Bf2 PR mod which is most popular PvP mod in Bf franchise. For DM or CTF who is in basic spouse to be quick intensive fight where an ArmA advantage is not that important for playability this is area where CoD franchise rules.
Right now 90% or maybe more is Coop MP against AI and is mostly because ArmA don’t have proper Player vs. Player MP mod. Only seriously PvP mod is warfare which is too much spread out what causing shortage of action or better say direct confrontation between players.
So my question is going in that direction is they planning to do something to cover that part of market or we have to stay on old outdated Bf2 engine to satisfy our need for good PvP mod?
I hope its clear enough now. :army_wink:
